Rule change with immediate effect!
Mindful of the class’s 70th anniversary, Class Measurer Jonathan Woodward and the Solo Class Association Committee would like to advise members that all Solos should now have a washboard fitted, in accordance with the original plans and blueprints. Porthpean SC Open a Casualty of the Storms – Western Area
The storms over the last couple of days have already created it’s first casualty of 2026. The slipway to the beach at Porthpean SC has been damaged with the end being damaged beyond simple repair, resulting in a 1.5m drop to the launching beach. As this is such a nice venue, we have taken the decision to delay the event from 13 th -14 th June to Saturday 26 th September, one day, to allow the local Council time to put a solution in place and the club be back up an running
