Sadly the weather forecast has taken it’s first casualty with wind forecast in high 20s gusting 30+ kts. As a result we are forced to cancel the Torpoint Mosquito Open on Saturday 11th April 2026, part of the P&B Western Series. We are looking to try and reschedule for later in the year, we will notify you as soon as we can.

The storms over the last couple of days have already created it’s first casualty of 2026. The slipway to the beach at Porthpean SC has been damaged with the end being damaged beyond simple repair, resulting in a 1.5m drop to the launching beach. As this is such a nice venue, we have taken the decision to delay the event from 13 th -14 th June to Saturday 26 th September, one day, to allow the local Council time to put a solution in place and the club be back up an running.
