How are people getting on with flattener? Easier to sail and still be able to stay within sight of other boats? I don't want to go down the B rig option but starting to struggle with my cumulus at 13st - not sure if its just age. Any other big wind suggestions?

The new rule was approved at the Agm but I cant find any detail, beyond us being allowed to put an extra eye in the sail leach. I would like to set this up before the autumn gales. Are there any restrictions on what can be fitted to operate the extra eye?

What do you use as a reference point when running downwind with reverse flow? David Greening has given me some great advice on setting the kicker but it would be useful to hear what to use as a steering guide.
