Porthpean SC Open a Casualty of the Storms – Western Area

The storms over the last couple of days have already created it’s first casualty of 2026. 

The slipway to the beach at Porthpean SC has been damaged with the end being damaged beyond simple repair, resulting in a 1.5m drop to the launching beach.  As this is such a nice venue, we have taken the decision to delay the event from 13^th-14^th June to Saturday 26^th September, one day, to allow the local Council time to put a solution in place and the club be back up an running. 

Hope this has not caused too many issues for those that might have already looked for accommodation at this holiday area.
