NSCA Training Event at Dittisham Sailing Club Friday 18 July 2025

The NSCA has kindly agreed to sponsor training at Dittisham Sailing Club.

The training will offer a great opportunity to provide training / practice for both the Dittisham Sailing Club Open on Saturday 19 July 2025 and the Teign Corinthian Open meeting on Sunday 20 July 2025.

The Solo Association providing a renowned coach Ben Flower to run the day.

Venue: Dittisham Sailing Club

Date and Time: Friday 18 July: Start at 10:00

Fees: The training will be free for members of National Solo Class Association. If you are not a member then of NSCA then there is a discounted fee of £10 for the day. You must register and pay (if not a NSCA member) at the Dittisham SC website. You will be required to self-declare if you are a member of the NSCA. Those NSCA members must also register on the DSC website however there will no charge.

Places: There is a maximum of 15 places. This will be operated based on first come first served. Registration and payment of any fees will be via Dittisham SC’s website.

Car Parking: Access to the sailing club is via the Ham’s Car Park in Dittisham. The car park requires payment of the appropriate fee. If the car park is full there is free parking along the road just before you turn into the car park. At the bottom of the car park there is a gate which gives access to the foreshore and enables boats and vehicles to drive the 50 metres to the boat park. Access to the foreshore is not possible at high tide.

Refreshments: Please bring your own food for the day. Tea and coffee will be available.

Accommodation: Those wishing to stay over may find accommodation within Dartmouth town which is a short drive from Dittisham (15 mins). Here are a few suggestions of campsites.
