Southern Area Champs early fee registration until May 25th, 23:59

One week to go for the SUPER SPARS Southern Area Champs at Lymington Town SC next weekend, on May 31st & June 1st. Reminder that the early fee closes this Sunday, May 25th at 23:59; after that you can still register, but please note that registration fee goes up by +£10. (Links to registration is available further down in this message)

Entry fee until 25th May* for 2-day is £40 + £8**, your entry fee includes:

  • 2-day event: Saturday 31st  May & Sunday June 1st - 3 races planned for each day.

  • Free Saturday Night evening meal for sailors taking part, sponsored by National Solo Class Association (NSCA).

  • Sponsored Keg of Beer, thanks to Marstons Brewery.

  • Prizes & discount vouchers from our sponsors, including a Boom as a raffle prize for those taking part on both days. Thanks to our sponsors: Super Spars, CB Trailer & Covers Solo Specialist Store, Triggernaut and Magic Marine.

There is an option to only join for one day for £25 +£4**

* £10 ‘late fee’ will be applied to any entry after 23:59 Sunday 25th May

Additional information:

  • The club and its facilities are open to all participants and their supporters on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • Launching will be from the sheltered slipway adjacent to the club house and Lifeboat station!

  • Free roadside parking is available on local streets.  The town car park next to the club is also available

  • A Camping field is available locally for both the Friday and the Saturday nights - suitable for camper vans and tents Book on the Entry page.

  • For any accompanying non-sailors - Lymington Market Day is on all day Saturday – Lymington is also handy for the ferry to the IOW for anyone who wishes to go ‘overseas’ for the day and of course the New Forest is on Lymington’s doorstep



Training Day schedule - Friday, May 30th

Charlie Cumbley from North Sails will be providing a coaching day on the Friday for the group who has registered to join this session. The proposed schedule is as follow:

  • 9:00 to 10:30am Arrivals and boats rigged & ready.

  • 10:30 - 11:45am Onshore setup discussion and briefing.

  • 11:45 - 12:00 Get changed

  • 12:00: boats launch

  • 12:00 - 2:30/3:00pm Training and racing practice sessions

  • 3:30 - 4:00pm Debrief
