Solo Midland Series Nears Its Exciting Conclusion.

The Solo Midland Series, sponsored by Allen and CB, is heading into its final two events, and the competition is still wide open. With many sailors already qualified, the final results are set to go right down to the wire.

First up is the Midland Area Championships at Northampton Sailing Club on 11th October. This promises to be a fantastic day, with four races scheduled on the big waters of Pitsford Reservoir. Entry is just £20 if booked before 9th October, and the NSCA will be providing lunch, tea, coffee, and cakes, ensuring both the racing and the hospitality are first-class.

The series then concludes at Notts County Sailing Club on 25th October, where the final points will be settled and the prize-giving ceremony will take place. Generous prizes from Allen,CB and NSCA will be awarded to overall winners and top series qualifiers. Every sailor who completes the qualifying number of events will also receive a free Midland Series water bottle as a memento of their season.

With four events needed to qualify for the overall series and three big-lake events to count towards the Big Lake Series, both titles remain hotly contested. Expect close racing, great camaraderie, and a thrilling finale to the 2025 Solo Midland Series.
