2 events to join this weekend at Felpham SC.

Only 5 days for the joint Nigel Pusinelli & the Southern Area Champs, sponsored by Pinnell and Bax. This 2-day event includes a special edition Solo Class 70 anniversary race at Felpham SC, 11-12th July. There is also a NSCA sponsored training day on Friday 10th July - see details below. NSCA training day

  • Friday 10th July - Join a training day with Oliver Davenport on the Friday – You can register and join the training, even if you can't join for the weekend 2-day event - great opportunity to prepare ahead of the Nationals taking place in a few weeks. Plan for Friday is: boats rigged by 10:15am for a shore-based session and Q&A, followed by a 2-hour on water session starting at 11:45, then back for a debrief and Q&A. Training is free for NSCA members; for non-members is £25 and you will also receive membership of the NSCA as part of your entry. Pusinelli and Southern Area Champs

The 2-day event includes 6 championship races, plus invitational 70th anniversary race for 10 competitors to compete for cash prize! Entry details at: Felpham Sailing Club  

Schedule below, but please refer to NOR and SI in the website for full and up to date information.

  • Saturday 11th Event Registration: Reception entry check-in Saturday from 09.00-10.00. entry fee £45 for the 2-day event. Briefing: Saturday 11th July at 11.00am, Felpham SC clubhouse. The first warning signal shall be made no earlier than 11.55. Three races shall be sailed back to back on 11th July, three races shall be sailed back to back on 12th July.

  • Breakfasts, Sandwiches, snacks and beverages will be available throughout the weekend. Bar facilities will be available after racing on Saturday with a meal (additional cost)

  • Social: Live band at the club on Saturday evening!

  • Solo 70th Anniversary Invitation Race will take place soon after the last official race on Saturday. 10 sailors drawn from the entry will compete in a short course race for a prize of £70. More details on the day. This race won’t count towards the Pusinelli or Southern Area championships, but will be a standalone competition
