Retro fitting an extended gooseneck
I was thinking of fitting an extended goosenck to my M2 mast which has the original fitting. My issue is I believe the extended gooseneck is supplied without any pre-drilled holes to match the existing gooseneck. Has anyone retro fitted this new part? If so, is it as difficult as I think it might be or is there a simple hack to pick up the existing holes in the mast?

My simple hack is get a professional to supply and fit it, it’s a massively stressed item and you can’t afford a mistaKe, my local chandler was not expensive
