Does anyone have transom sheeting, if so could they post some photos please. I was out in a bit of a blow yesterday and the gusts were hard work I didn't dare clear the main. I was worn out. I'm told that with transom sheeting the loads are less but I've never seen it on a Solo. There are probably counter arguements too.

Mention " laser style sheeting" and I immediately think of ropes catching on the transom corner. Kicker tension doesn't have to be huge and headroom reducing to take much of the sheet pressure off in standard form
Although watching a video of superstar Jon of Edge Sails and his unique rear facing tack may give you other ideas!
Thanks Ian. That is very interesting. Your Transom flaps say Frenshman pond. Assuming that is where you sail could I come and see your boat sometime?
Sure - I have it set up a bit like the Laser - here is an article I wrote about it... https://soloscribbles.blogspot.com/2022/07/kirby-sheeting.html
