Newer boats are often bought by keener and faster sailors.
So they tend to be at the front of the fleet.
Moving forward of the traveller digs the bow in and is VERY slow
Welcome to the club. I'm 16.5 stone and have recently bought a Solo too. I've just replaced the transom flaps with some rigid plastic I cut up.
I'd be interested in sail settings for the 'larger chap' too.
and 1 more thing i have no idear what the real sail number is how would i find this out ??
Sorry also are the older boats as fast as the newer ones
