I have received this from Bob Yates at Upper Thames and while Bourne End has traditionally been an OK class stronghold, there has always been a Solo presence and promoting the Solo could be good for the class in the Thames Valley now that other fleets have been lost.
"This Regatta is still known as Bourne End Week, but recognising that even the most enthusiastic sailors have other demands on their time, the program this year has been condensed to 3 days sailing over the May Bank Holiday weekend (May 27-29) for all classes except Thames A Raters. All the fun of the traditional river regatta and social program have been retained within this format and I hope it appeals to your members especially those in the Thames Valley and surrounding area".
Please note that a 25% late booking fee will apply to bookings made after Sunday 21st May.
