Can a fireball boom (cut to required length if necessary) be used for a Solo?

Not sure of dim of fireball boom but it has to comply with solo class rules. These can be found on the RYA web site. The boom dimensions can be found in section F4.4
Width min 50 max 66
Depth min 50 max 72
Same section over length no cut away at out board end.
Its deeper ( ouch on gybes) so it's not just cutting , its welding and reforming as well.
Sell it and use the cash towards a used solo
