Mindful of the class’s 70th anniversary, Class Measurer Jonathan Woodward and the Solo Class Association Committee would like to advise members that all Solos should now have a washboard fitted, in accordance with the original plans and blueprints. The first boats from the new PD Composites mould have already been adjusted accordingly, with other builders following suit. This not only returns the boats to the true aesthetic of the original design, but also reduces the amount of water shipped...
