Could someone explain the theory behind mixing and matching carbon with glass battens? I've seen hints where people seem to be using carbon at the bottom, with glass at the top and vice versa. I'm also intrigued by the fact that the glass battens I got with a new North F3 seem far stiffer than the carbon HD battens that came with the boat.
