Thresher composite Solo Dinghy manufactured 2005 by Tony Thresher
The hull is epoxy foam sandwich construction out of a Thresher mould with a maximum thickness floor and moulded centre board case making it a nice stiff hull. The deck and tanks are marine ply construction.
3 kg correctors. The tanks are sound and water tight.
Milanes foils.
Recent Seasure alloy rudder stock. Rudder uphaul and downhaul Carbon tiller extension.
D plus mast. Stiff Holt boom.
Continuous control lines kicker, Cunningham and inhaul. Outhaul led to side cleats.
Double cradle launching trolley.
2021 Hyde laminate sail in good condition.
Dacron B plan sail
Rain and Sun heavy poly cotton deep cover.
This is a well maintained boat that is in regular use for club racing within a Solo fleet. There are some minor age related scuffs to the underside of the hull..
It would make an excellent inexpensive introduction for club racing
Offered with a road base if required. During my ownership the hubs, bearings wheels and tyres have been replaced. The trolley is not the original for the base but does fit. The original trolley is available if wanted as a free extra.
